Anchor Updates • Plan Modifications and Technical Change Requests • Feedback from HHSC in early February, 2015 • Performance Logic • Contract terminated • Establish plan for transfer of data to providers internal systems • Left-over funds from DY2 • $345 Million • Still no word from CMS on this approval for access to funds • HHSC feels it is less likely CMS will approve the amendment at this late time frame for use in DY5
Anchor Updates • October Reporting • NMI Metrics were due to HHSC 1/16 • Provisionally Approved Metrics • HHSC will contact providers by 2/16 for NMI on these metrics and request responses by 3/6 • Category 3 • Providers will be contacted for questions on this data from now until end of February to finalize the data • Any provider requests to ‘true up’ baseline data was due to HHSC 1/15
Anchor Updates • Category 4 • Providers requesting variances to this data • HHSC indicated NMI for these metrics and waiting for a response from CMS • Waiver Renewal • Clinical Champions workgroup was formed to assist in renewed waiver activities • First meeting is scheduled for 1/22 • Updated RHP Plans • HHSC will retain their final versions of our projects and make available for public view by mid-June • Regions will only need to update other sections of the Plan to include CNA, Provider Contacts, signature pages • Due to HHSC in March, 2015
HHSC Mid-Point Assessment Texas has a total of 1,500 DSRIP Projects Approximately 700-800 Projects were selected by Myers and Stauffer for a detailed desk audit across the regions Selection Process was basically random Myers and Stauffer will use HHSC plan documents and also the last reporting period documents, and the recent Plan Modification documents 50 Projects were selected for Region 15, or 50% There may be no issues and a final letter will be sent indicating this Some Projects will be flagged and have on-site reviews in October 2014 HHSC will be sending additional information on what to expect in the on-site reviews
HHSC Mid-Point Assessment • Myers and Stauffer were in El Paso January 5, 2015 • On-site Reviews were performed on two projects: • UMC – Project Option 1.9.3 Expand Specialty Care: Placing Behavioral Health Trained Psychiatric Practitioners into a Non-Behavioral Health Institution. • Texas Tech – Project Option 1.9.1 The Expansion and Enhancement of Comprehensive Breast Care Services to an Indigent and Underserved Population in the University Breast Care Center (UBCC) • There will also be a written report issued to HHSC on the desk reviews of all the selected projects. • Questions on Region 15 projects were sent to Providers on 1/20 • Responses were due back on 1/27 • Project Withdrawal • After the mid-point assessment, performing providers will have an opportunity to withdraw the DSRIP project if they choose so. • The window is 2/1/2015 – 5/1/2015
