2. 1. The Agony in the Garden

3. 1 And they went to a place which was called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, "Sit here, while I pray." Mark.14:32

4. 2. And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled. Mark 14:33

5. 3. Then he said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me."Matt 26:38

6. 4. And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will. Matt 26:39

7. 5. And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, "So could you not watch with me one hour? Matt 26:40

8. 6. Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matt 26:41

9. 7. Again for the second time, he went away and prayed, "My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, thy will be done." Matt 26:42

10. 8. And again he came and found them sleeping for their eyes were heavy. So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words. Matt 26:43,44

11. 9. Then he came to the disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Matt: 26:45

12. 10. "Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand." Matt 26:46

13. 2. The Scourging at the Pillar

14. 1. Pilate entered the praetorium again and called Jesus, and said to him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" John 18:33

15. 2. Jesus answered, "Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me? John 18:34

16. 3. Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me; what have you done?" John 18:35

17. 4. Jesus answered, "My kingship is not of this world; if my kingship were of this world, my servants would fight, that I might not be handed over to the Jews; but my kingship is not from the world." John 18:36

18. 5. Pilate said to him, "So you are a king?" John 18:37.

19. 6. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Every one who is of the truth hears my voice." John 18:37.

20. 7. Pilate said to him, "What is truth?" After this, he went out to the Jews again, and told them, " I find no crime in him". John 18:38

21. 8. But you have a custom that I should release one man for you at the Passover; will you have me release for you, the King of the Jews?" John 18:39

22. 9. They cried out again, "Not this man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber. John 18:40

23. 10. Then Pilate took Jesus and scourged him. John 19:1

24. 3. The Crowning with Thorns

25. 1. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium, and they gathered the whole army before him. Matt 27:27

26. 2. And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him. Matt 37:28

27. 3. And making a crown of thorns they put it on his head, and put a reed in his right hand. Matt 27:29

28. 4. And kneeling before him they mocked him, saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!" Matt 27:29

29. 5. And they spat upon him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. Matt 27:30

30. 6. Pilate went out again, and said to them, "Behold I am bringing him out to you, that you may know that I find no crime in him." John 19:4

31. 7. So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. John 19:5

32. 8. He said to the Jews, "Here is your King!" John 19:14

33. 9. They cried out, "Away with him, away with him, crucify him!" Pilate said to them "Shall I crucify your king?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar." John 19:15

34. 10. Then he handed him over to them to be crucified. John 19:16

35. 4. The Carrying of the Cross

36. 1. "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself. Luke 9:23

37. 2. And take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

38. 3. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it. Luke 9:24

39. 4. For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:25

40. 5. They took Jesus and he went out, bearing his own cross, John 19:17

41. 6. And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus. Luke 23:26

42. 7. And there followed him a great multitude of the people, and of women who bewailed and lamented him. Luke 23: 26

43. 8. But Jesus turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. Luke 23:26

44. 9. Two others also, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. Luke 23:32

45. 10. And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. Luke 23:33

46. 5. The Crucifixion

47. 1. And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34

48. 2. "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingly power." Luke 23:42

49. 3. And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Luke 23:43

50. 4. When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved, standing near, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold your son!" John 19:26
