  2. She was born • She was born in Beckenham, London on the 8th of February 1962. • In school he favourite subject was English. • She describes her self as a bit of a dreamer.

  3. After School Malorie wanted to be a English teacher when she left school. She was told by a careers adviser that she should get a business degree

  4. Job • In 1980 Her first job was working in the computer industry. • In 1988 she started writing in the evenings after work.

  5. Book’s • Her first book was not so stupid was published in November 1990. • She had so many rejections letters she nearly gave up at one point. • She became a full time writer in 1992 following her book hacker witch won children's book of the year award in 1994.

  6. More books After that she had wrote over 50 book’s and won many awards. In 2003 she was the only black author in the top 100 of the BBC’s Big Read with her book noughts and crosses. She doesn't just write book’s she also writes script's for films, theatre and T.V.
