Gather The Lord be with you And also with you Let the light of Christ shine in our lives
Receive People were bringing little children to Jesus … and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.’ . From the Gospel according to Mark, chapter 10, verses 13 to 15
Engage “The Universal Children's Day is dedicated to promoting the well-being and human rights of the world's children, especially those suffering the impacts of poverty, armed conflict, discrimination and exploitation. The date of the observance - 20 November - marks the day on which, in 1989, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Today, we reaffirm our obligation to do everything in our power to enable all children to survive and thrive, learn and grow, have their voices heard and reach their full potential.” Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General, United Nations.
