The 5/6 Building Curriculum Committee • This committee first met on June 3, 2008. • Kick off for summer work took place on July 9, 2008. • Sub-Committees: ILA, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Language, Physical Education, Guidance, Gifted, Special Education, Library, Nurses, FCS, Technology Education, Art, Music.

World Language Addition of exploratory World Language instruction being considered for 6th grade. Developmentally appropriate time for language instruction. FCS/Tech Ed Under consideration as special area subjects State standards will be heavily considered
