Formative Assessment data can inform you • Everything has a season; why rush knowledge • How? Teach the how to be successful. Students need to graduate from high school • Attendance; stress attendance/managing tools • Assessments are important
Be A Difference Maker • Spend time helping others • Negative Attitudes create Negative Behaviors • Happiness; Bring Happiness to your classroom • Disciple others; train them to be good students and leaders • Be Givers not Takers • Seasonal Differences; know them • Adversity Builds Character
Be A Difference Maker • Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional • Scatter stones or gather stones; which are you doing? • Change? Are you ready for change
Formative Instructional Practices • Modules 1-5 to be completed by May 2015; as of right now….this could change • State Mandated Training • Small Groups to complete the modules • Small Group Leader chosen by Mr. Herring • Bring your computer to the meetings and log in • Small Group Leaders will notify you of scheduled meetings
Formative Instructional Practices • Do not miss the meeting unless it is an emergency; make up classes will be hard • Log in information provided by your leader • You will create your password after you log in • Small Group Discussions should be helpful
