S n a p • Our product is called Snap-Jack because: • Our product is a flapjack. • Our companies called snap because we typed in success on an online thesaurus and Snap came up. • We combined the two together and got Snap-Jack. Scope and Boundaries Scope :We were allowed to do a healthy bar or cookie and we choose a flap-jack. We had a quite a lot of time to do this and we had quite a few recipes to chose from in home economics. Boundaries :Our boundaries were that we didn’t have any money so we could only use the resources from the home economics, design and technology and computing departments.
Business plan • The price for our product is £1.98 for 2 bars. • Our expected profits for every pack made is £0.26. • We will achieve this because our bar has a new and interesting flavour. • We chose this product because we all like flapjacks, chocolate and cherries.
Types of packaging • The benefits of eco packaging is that it can be colourful. • People will recognise it and might be more likely to buy it because they know it is good for the environment. • It is cheaper. • It is biodegradable.
Recipe idea and reasons for recipe • Our new product fits the stoats range as it contains oats. • Our recipe contains fruit which makes it healthy and it also has an appealing taste because it contains chocolate.
Advert • The target audience for our advert is teenagers. • We think our product can be a good snack if your hungry, for example if your at a sleepover.
