Population 38.1% of the population is 14 or under, 58% is 15-64, and 3.9% is 65 or over The average age is 20 The official language is Spanish with various other Amerindian languages spoken throughout the country The population is 59.4% Mestizo and European and 41.6% indigenous.
Economics The unemployment rate is 3.2% The GDP has grown 4.6%, 5.7%, 4%, 0.6%, and 2.6% each of the last five years The GINI coefficient was 55.1 (11th) in 2005 The top 10% of people account for 42.4% of income and the bottom 10% account for 1.3% 15% of people live in extreme poverty One of the highest GDPs in Latin America
