  2. Senior Accountant Job Summary • We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented candidate to join our finance team forSenior Accountant Job . You will prepare financial statements, review budgets and forecasts, analyze cash flow, verify financial records and transactions, oversee audits, and develop paperwork for regulatory reporting. If any junior accountants are hired, you will also be responsible for training new staff and monitoring their work for accuracy. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional accounting experience with a track record for providing accurate and efficient work.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities and Duties • Oversee accounts payable and receivable. • Maintain account balances and bank statements. • Assist with audits and taxes. • Supervise accounting department, junior employees, and accounting assistants. • Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents. • Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes. • Analyze financial reports. • Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders.

  4. Senior Accountant Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. • 2+ years of experience as an accountant. • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. • Excellent communication skills. • Certified Public Accountant license required. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
