Senate 1.Qualifications a: Age: 30 b: Citizenship:9 years c: Must live in state you senate 2.elections a. Varies between states, most common is 6 years. 3.responsibilitys a. Must attend meeting once a year b.Must vote on bills
Article II-presidency 1.Qualifications A.age:35 B. Citizenship: must be born is USA C.Residency: Must live in White House 2.Elections A. Elections every 4 years 3.Responsibilitys A. Sign Bills or veto bills B. Give congress information
Article III- Judical Branch A. The supreme court allows Justices to serve for life. B. 1. Settles disputes between the states 2. Reviews Constitutionality of laws 3. Hears cases about rights, and laws for appeal.
1stadmendment • The Freedom of speech gives us the right to say what we want about the government without being arrested, unless in the case of obscenity, or incitement to commit a crime.
5thAdmendment • The 5th amendment states that you shall not be forced to testify against yourself unless in cases in the armed forces. You shall not be tried twice for the same offense. Private property will not be taken for public use, without just compensation.
14thAdmendment • The 14th amendment Guarantees people born in the United States citizenship. also giving everyone equal protection. They shall also not pay debts that will go toward rebellion against the United States or compensation of slaves.
