Outstanding Response Issues • Unilateral removal of segments from active response • Lack of long-term and proactive oil patrol and removal • Submerged oil • Lack of opportunities for parish involvement • Orphaned anchors • Premature exit from response
At Risk Location: Northern Barataria Bay Status: The State anticipates the USCG will prematurely remove this area from active response due to NEB* Issue: State has documented technical concerns with removing this area from active response due to surface residue and sheening in the area * Net Environmental Benefit
