ACT Facts: • Registration for above test dates can be made online at act.org. • If you register and take the December, April or June exam, you can request your test booklet and answers for a small fee. This is highly recommended for follow up. • Cost to take the ACT is $52, except for the in-school tests in March and senior year October exam. They are paid for by the state of Tennessee Department of Education. • You can report your scores to up to 4 colleges each time you register for free. If you choose to report your scores later, it will cost $13 a school.
ACT Facts: • If you miss an ACT for which you have previously registered, you can change your registration for a fee and retain part of the original cost. • In order to meet your college-ready benchmarks, you must get 42 out of 75 questions correct in English, 27 out of 40 questions correct in Reading, 27 out of 40 questions correct in Science, and 34 out of 60 questions correct in Math. • Timing is a big thing for the ACT.
The ACT Reading section is thirty-five minutes, four 750-word passages, and forty questions. Scared? DON’T BE!!!
