Voyager with UnicodeTM • Endeavor worked closely with the Unicode task force to insure… • Implementation reflects appropriate standards • Correct Unicode values are used • Unicode characters match the MARC 21 repertoire • Worked with the Library of Congress to test data conversion • First converted database delivered Jan. 15, 2003 • Out of 31.7 million converted MARC records (.5 million bib records with 880 fields), only 2100 errors • Less than 1% increase in disk space • Beta testing • Ready to start June, 2003
