  2. La Hb es un tetrámero que consta de cuatro cadenas polipetidicas (dos cadenas – α y dos cadenas –β )

  3. GRUPO HEMO • Unión del succinil-CoA al aminoácido glicina formando un grupo pirrol. • Cuatro grupos pirrol se unen formando la protoporfirinaIX. • La protoporfirina IX se une a un ion ferroso (Fe2+) formando el grupo hemo.
