A Note from Our Founder Since the day I graduated from college, I have always had an interest in giving back to the community. The forming of Give Me A Chance Foundation has finally given me that opportunity. None of this would have been possible if not for the help and assistance of a great group of people who serve on the board of the Foundation. We are all dedicated to making the lives of today’s youth better. The Give Me A Chance Foundation is providing quality leadership for inner city youth. I believe our work will have a positive impact that will shape a better future for those we serve. Thank you to all our sponsors and donors to today’s event. We deeply appreciate your commitment to helping the Foundation achieve its goal! Cordially, for Give Me a Chance Foundation June 13, 2009 Old Oak Country Club 14200 S. Parker Road Homer Glen, IL

A Note from the President In early 2008, it was my good fortune to be asked by Bo to serve on the Board of Directors of the charitable foundation he wished to start. I want to take this opportunity to thank Bo for inviting me to be a part of this enterprise. Every day offers new challenges, opportunities and rewards. Whether doing mundane paperwork, planning fundraisers, working with organizations applying for our assistance or developing programs, each task is vital to carrying out the Foundation’s mission. I relish being part of this organization that will bring a better life to kids who really deserve to be given the chance to succeed. To all the members of the Corporate Advisory Board, our event committee and the volunteers, I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart. This event could not have been put together without each of you! To all our celebrity guests, sponsors, donors and golfers, thank you for opening your heart to the mission of Give Me A Chance Foundation. Your help will truly make a difference to the many kids we can reach. I hope you enjoy Bo’s 1st Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic. We look forward to seeing you next year on Friday, June 18, 2010! Cordially, Carol Bradtke

GOLD SPONSORS The Lieponis family is honored to host Bo Jackson's first charity golf outing at Old Oak Country Club. It seems fitting that Bo's foundation, which strives to assist underprivileged inner city children, comes to our course. The original golf course was built in 1926 by Barney Kinsman with a tractor and horse-drawn equipment. During prohibition, The Kinsman Club was more than a golf course, offering drinking and off-track gambling on horse races. Trains and buses-up to 14 each day-brought Chicago golfers to Orland Park to play at the course. The clubhouse was a remodeled barn and silo with locker rooms, a bar and a banquet room for 400 people. With the depression, Mr. Kinsman fell on hard times and was forced to sell the course. According to his daughter, the course was purchased by heavyweight boxing champion Joe Louis. It was said to be the first golf course in the country to be owned by an african-american. After several years, the clubhouse burned down and was not rebuilt. For 20 years after the fire, local farmers brought their sheep to graze on what was left of the once proud golf course. In 1967, Justas Lieponis purchased and revived the course into what it is today. Old Oak has been in the family ever since, now for more than 40 years. The Lieponis family is grateful to participate in Bo's event and to contribute to this worthy cause. Enjoy your day on this historic golf course. Your hosts, Al and Peter Lieponis Your local distributor of the finest beer brands in the world including brands from the world class breweries of Miller, Coors, Heineken, Samuel Adams, and others. Special thanks to Champion Logistics Group, Kozol Bros Inc. and Mercedes-Benz of Westmont for their support as Gold Sponsors of this event.
