Flux and Tinning Flux Tinning Cleans the oxide off the circuit/components Helps the solder stick to the metal Putting solder onto the tip of the soldering iron Helps to clean the soldering iron which helps the solder stick
Soldering vs. Brazing vs. Welding • Differs in how much heat is used • The more heat, the stronger the product is • Welding uses the most heat and is strongest, soldering uses the least heat and is weakest
