  11. Real World Totalitarian Examples Hand painted propaganda posters can be seen everywhere in North Korea's streets, schools, cinemas, official buildings, media etc. This form of 'art' is highly developed in North Korea (DPRK) as it is part of daily life.

The ban has also targeted such popular social networking sites as Facebook and YouTube, as well as news sites.

Write down their name, country and one specific concept related to their harsh rule. • EXAMPLE: • Islam Karimov, Uzbekistan • Each fall, university students, teachers, civil servants, and children as young as 9 are forced to live in barracks and harvest cotton under in humane conditions. • He has ordered soldiers to fire into unarmed crowds of protestors, routinely uses torture on political prisoners, and fixes elections to remain in power.
