Meanders • A meander is a river bend. • Water flows slowly on the inside of a meander, where silt is deposited and quickly on the outside where erosion continues to occur.
The Mouth • The mouth is the widest part of the river when the river meets the sea. • The mouth of the River Severn meets the Bristol Channel!
