Status on Media CompaniesNext Steps • Contact second tier of media companies identified especially in USA and Asia. • Contact Universities and Associations recommended by OS for media contacts and introductions. • Contact active GRI OS in Asia for media contacts and introductions. • Set a NEW deadline

Organizational Stakeholders: Composition, Selection Criteria and Process Stakeholder Composition • 30% of participants should come from DAC countries; • There should be balance participation from a minimum of four continents. • Stakeholders should be recruited from the following categories: Labor, investor, and NGO. • A minimum of 1 labor representative and 1 investor representative should be included in the group. • Consultants and service providers of the sector in question should not be included in the group. • Academics can sit on the Working Group in exceptional cases when they provide specialist knowledge deemed to relate to a key sustainability impact of the sector. • Stakeholders should fit the criteria for involvement in the Working Group. • The number of stakeholders should match the number of industry participants.

Organizational Stakeholders: Composition, Selection Criteria and Process Selection Criteria • Must be part of a non-governmental organization, investor or a labor union/syndicate. • Knowledge of and expertise in the media sector; • Relevant knowledge of reporting and use of performance indicators; • Related experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives; • Understanding of/willingness to work in a consensus based multi-stakeholder working group; • Ability to commit to attending in person all six working group meetings; and • Ability to participate in working group meetings held in English. • Ability and willingness to work on consensus basis and under GRI due process; and • Active approach to email and telephone call participation throughout the project.
