Example: George Orwell’s Animal Farm is an allegory of the 1917 Russian Revolution. Godzilla is often cited as an allegory of atomic destruction. The Lord of the Rings is a Christian allegory. The Matrix Trilogy can be seen as an allegory for Plato’s Allegory of the cave.
