Mr. Grajeda's Speech Class. Who am I?. Graduated from UTPA (Pan Am) with a Bachelors in Print/Journalism. I wrote Feature Stories for the university's magazine Panorama and won 2 nd place for feature writing in a collegiate state competition.

  1. Mr. Grajeda's Speech Class

  2. Who am I? • Graduated from UTPA (Pan Am) with a Bachelors in Print/Journalism. • I wrote Feature Stories for the university's magazine Panorama and won 2nd place for feature writing in a collegiate state competition. • I also worked at the Pan Am Wellness center while attending.

  3. Upon graduating I wrote freelance for several local publications. • While doing that I got a certification with AFAA. • I briefly worked for IBM in Austin, but it wasn't for me.

  4. Then I got certified to be a substitute.

  5. While doing that... • I got certified by the state to teach high school level Speech as well as Journalism.

  6. Now lets get down to the “neety greety”

  7. DO NOT: • Eat food of any kind in my class. Ever. • Leave trash at or around your desk. • Get out of your seat without my permission. • Work on any other work until you have finished mine and have permission to work on someone else's. • Login to your computer unless first told to do so. • Speak while I am lecturing or giving instructions. • Roll around the room with your chair (or you will lose it.)

  8. DO: • Come into class quietly or with a low speaking volume. • Sit/Stay in your assigned seat. • Be prepared with proper materials (pen, paper, book, etc.) • Take notes on lectures or when I instruct you to do so. • OBEY ALL POSTED RULES

  9. Consequences will be swift and enforced!

  10. Restroom? • You will be given a pass. • Taking too long will result in your restroom privilege being taken away!
