Being a teacher. By Hayley Sime. The reason why. In 2 nd grade my teacher inspired me I love teaching kids It’s the only job I really thought about. What I would do if I got the job. I would like to teach math Also reading I would also like to teach elementary 1 st or 2 nd grade.

  2. The reason why • In 2nd grade my teacher inspired me • I love teaching kids • It’s the only job I really thought about.

  3. What I would do if I got the job • I would like to teach math • Also reading • I would also like to teach elementary • 1st or 2nd grade

  4. Tools used • Phone • Projector • Clicker • Dry erase boards- - smart board

  5. Tools used on computer • Computer • Power points • Online grade book • Microsoft word • Microsoft excel • Internet

  6. High School Classes • Usually Students would take, • Chemistry • Creative writing • Foreign language (min. of 2 years) • Geometry • Literature

  7. What does the job do? • Usually teachers in Elementary teach children in grades 1-8 • Plan and teach lessons • Design learning activities • They test and record progress for each student, then discuss with there parents.

  8. What the salary would be

  9. Schedule/hours and education • work about 36 hours a week in classrooms. • Another 15 hours a week is spent grading papers and preparing lessons. • They usually work about nine to ten months a year. • Must have a bachelor's degree • At least 4 years of collage

  10. Promotions and positive qualities • You could start out as a teacher • Then get the grade you want • Get more money • Be the principal

  11. Negative Qualities • You could not be a teacher and instead be the outside watch • You could get a grade you don’t like • You could get the min amount of money for your pay check
