Why did the people move west The soil was well matted so that the farmers crops would grow better and they would expand. • The soil • More land • Because of pollution The pollution caused many problems and hard to breathe the air.
Some effects Factories polluted the air from using coal and steam. People moved West for cleaner air. Crowded streets bothered some people. With anxiety, it was hard for people to concentrate.
Moving west was good for the families • for adventure • new land • search for wealth • new life/starting over • many other reasons. • The farmers moved to the west for plantation
