What’s being done • Children are unifying to legalize child labour in order to receive the same protection and rights as adults • Petitions are in order to let people under 14 work legally • Nothing prominent is being done to end child labour in Bolivia • Ending child labour would be catastrophic to those who rely on the income of a child working in the mines or shining shoes • The Bolivian leader (an ex child worker) opposes the maximum age of 14 for workers
