  3. Third Coaltion • Austria, Portugal and Russia and Italy • Battle of Trafalgar- Nap fails to invade Britain • Battle of Austerlitz – Nap defeats Austria and Russia

  4. Fourth/Fifth Coalition • Prussia, Russia, Sweden, Britain • Nap loses • Austria and Britain • Stalemate…….

  5. Sixth coaltion • Austria, Prussia, Russia, Sweden, Britain • DEFEAT NAP • Exiled to Elba • 1000 men, staff, ruler of Elba and its 1100 ppl off the coast of Italy

  6. Exile and Escape • 9 months plotting return • 600 men • Escaped from port • Marched through alps gathering troops • Arrives Paris with 6000 men • Retakes power!

  7. Hundred days • Refers to period where he comes back from Elba before he is exiled….yet AGAIN • Battle of Waterloo- invade Britain…yet AGAIN • Loses….yet AGAIN • Exiled to St Helena for the rest of his life…..
