5. 5 Description: To develop, procure, and distribute the Hap Arnold style service dress coat for the US Air Force. This is a multi-track development in 4 Tracks:
Track 1: Issue Coat in Poly/Wool AF Shade 1620
Currently wear testing coat – 3 configurations
4 locations
Scheduled for Aug – Oct 08
Final configuration decision summer Sum 09
Track 2: Commercial Coat
AAFES 100% worsted wool option (at members own expense)
Track 3: Parade/Ceremonial
To follow final design determination of Track 1
Track 4: USAF Honor Guard Coat in 100% polyester
