Propane Handling Components Dispenser Hydraulic Schematic
Propane Handling Components 1 • Meter: • High accuracy to 0.25% from 1 to 60 litres (16 gallons) per minute with standard meter. • Magnetic coupling for pulser drive eliminates shaft seals, a major cause of product leakage common with competitive meters. • High quality and precision components: use of stainless steel components with roller bearing running surfaces provides consistent accuracy and reliability. • All meters are factory calibrated before installation in dispensers. They are then calibrated again as completed dispensers.
Propane Handling Components 2 • Pressure Differential Valve: • Built‑in excess flow valve, cannot be accidentally or improperly adjusted and ensures protection in case of hose failure. • Internal shut‑off valve to prevent flow below 15 psi pump differential pressure. • Integral dispenser "blow down" service control valve for the depressurization of the entire dispenser. • Integral hydrostatic relief valve protects components.
Propane Handling Components 3 • Piping System: • All internal lines are high pressure seamless steel tubing (maximum working pressure 6000 psi). • All fittings are listed by Underwriters' Laboratories and CSA for working pressure exceeding the maximum tubing pressure. • All fittings incorporate reusable ferrules (the portion of the fitting which seals the fitting and the tubing) allowing the fitting to be reused after servicing.
Propane Handling Components 4 • Dual Solenoid Valves: • Every transaction starts in slow flow mode while the dispenser computer verifies that the temperature sensor and pulser system function properly. If correct operation is detected, the fast flow valve opens, allowing the transaction to continue. • An error in the temperature or pulser system will shut down the transaction. A pulser not sending any pulses will prevent the fast flow solenoid valve from opening, thus alerting the operator to the problem. • At the end of the transaction slow flow mode is used to accurately stop at pre-set amount.
Summary Key advantages of Kraft Fuels LPG dispensers: • Packaging to assist your marketing position • Easy integration with CNG & gasoline dispensers • Computer electronics designed to maximize your productivity and the dispenser's performance • Hydraulics designed for optimal flow rates to give you quality and performance that equals or exceeds modern gasoline dispensers • Customer support includes warranty, service, and training
