Cam’s Cans • Founded in 1962 • Founded after Cam lived in a house completely filled with cans • Cam swore he’d never let a person go through the pain he experienced • He gathered his coin jar and started his own company • Cam’s Cans goes around, collects all of your cans, and squeezes them. <- Cam in 1962

  3. Situation • Outdated equipment • Limited space • Poor transportation • Not enough workers Current building condition->

  4. Actions • Add 200 square feet to the original building • Revamp equipment • Replace vehicles • Hire more people

  5. Actions episode two… • It would take $500,000 for the building space • $100,000 for the new trucks • $90,000 for employee payment • $7.25 an hour for the full-time can squeezer

  6. Recommendations • Have a 400’ X 400’ steel building • Add 2 more trucks • Add full-time can squeezer • Add 120 more workers

  8. Implementations • If we got the $690,000 we would do three things: • Buy 200 more square feet of building space • Get 2 more trucks to improve workload • Employ 120 more workers to keep up with new space and equipment

Evaluation <- Cam in 2013 • If you supply me with the $690, 000 there will be many improvements to my company. • We will have more space so we aren’t crowded anymore. • The extra space will let us be able to hold the added equipment and trucks • We will be able to afford more workers to increase production time and work the new equipment. • If you supply us with the money, we will expand to more northeastern states like Maine, and Pennsylvania. • We will become the best can recycler company in America. Might as well give us money, you know?
