The Rumbling of the Russian Revolutions Russia was under pressure, Czars had made some reforms, but they were not enough to ease the nation’s predicament. Nicolas the 2nd blocked many attempts that would limit his power, Adding to the problems that the government had, people started to rebel. Revolutionaries broke out with radical plans. Some hoped to lead the peasants to take over the government, others tried to ignite the revolution.
