Ceassingnetwork - Reasons Financially – budget cuts Re-organisation of Organisational structure New management Network coordinator stops Missing membership benefits Shift in focus (other HP focus)
Reactions & solutions Financially – Save money, not spend money Re-organisation – See the possibilities, a new start invites for participate in shaping the organisation New management – Low fee, only need a little persuasion/ few arguments Coord. stops – For the existing coord. it is important to start out simple, engage a new coord. Missing benefits – Coord & Sec work on articulating benefits (higher level of service) Shift in focus (other HP focus) – difficult
Re-organised Networks Scotland ceassed as a Network, and have re-organised a NEW Scottish Network (Re-start with 3 members) Germany Switzerland – New focus! RE-start with Nils Undritz.
Network Agreements due for renewal Bulgaria France Greece Ireland Ireland, Northern Italy, Trentino Italy, Veneto Lithuania Switzerland USA, Pennsylvania GA Meeting May 22 – 2013 Gothenburg, Sweden
Ministerial Involvement Scotland, Poland & Hungary Top down approach. Strong ministerial support ease the way and an articulation of a national interest and engagement often gives better circumstances for the networks. The experience is, that the Ministries often find the HPH concept is good publicity for small money, and they therefore can sometimes be persuaded to giving a national support and taking a part in the establishment.
