  2. INDICADORES DE ESTERILIZACIÓN Monitorean o controlan si el proceso de esterilización funciona correctamente. En la actualidad no es suficiente someter los materiales al proceso de esterilización, sino que además se requiere cierto grado de seguridad en la eficiencia del procedimiento.

  5. Prueba de presión de burbuja Técnica empleada para determinar el tamaño de poro del filtro Se utiliza para comprobar la integridad de ciertos tipos de filtros. CONSISTE EN: 1.- Inicialmente se sumerge el filtro en un líquido apropiado 2.- Aplicar presión 3.- La diferencia de presión cuando la primera burbuja de aire se separa del filtro es equivalente al tamaño de poro máximo 4.- El filtro se considera ineficaz cuando se producen las burbujas muy rápidamente
