The Orpheus Obsession takes place in New York City. Anooshka Star sees a famous musician with her sister at a garden maze on her birthday. They both really enjoy his music, so Anooshka talks to Orpheus and gets an autograph. She believes that they have a connection and becomes obsessed with talking to him and finding him. She and her sister, Moon, find him at his restaurant where he gives them backstage passes to his concert and, at the concert, invites them to a party.
Protagonist- Anooshka Star is a sixteen-year-old who loves Orpheus’s music. She becomes obsessed with seeing him when she meets him in a garden maze. • Antagonist- Orpheus is a famous rock star. He convinces Anooshka that he likes her and leads her on.
Anooshka meets Orpheus and thinks they have a connection. She reads his online diaries and soon becomes obsessed with seeing him. She and her sister follow him to his restaurant, but eventually, Moon thinks that Anooshka is too obsessed with Orpheus. She thinks that he is only leading her on, but Anooshka refuses to believe it and remains obsessed.
Raphael- Anooshka’s best friend He doesn’t want Anooshka to obsess over Orpheus, but is also very rational understanding. Agnes- Anooshka’s friend She tries to convince Anooshka to stop obsessing over Orpheus. Durgha- Orpheus’s best friend Anooshka is jealous of her and thinks Orpheus loves her.

The Orpheus Obsession was a decent book. It was sometimes stressful to watch Anooshka embarrass herself while trying to impress Orpheus.
