Overview • Draft ADQ e-Reporting Data Specification shall extend from the INSPIRE Data Specifications: • Area Management, Regulation and Restriction Zones and Reporting Units • Zones • Reporting • Environmental Monitoring Facilities • Stations • Networks • Processes • The proposed changes should be considered for the Zones
Zones and Agglomerations • INSPIRE theme AM provides a core model for defining: “ Areas managed, regulated or used for reporting at international, European, national, regional and local levels” • Air Quality Management Zones are established for management and assessment of emissions of atmospheric pollutants to: “ ensure pollutant levels do not exceed relevant air quality target or limit values (i.e. environmental objectives)” • Management or Action plans are established to define how environmental objectives shall be achieved which define controls/restrictions
e-Reporting Requirements • MS are required to provide information about the zones established to attain good environmental status for specific environmental objectives • Objective: provide harmonised AQ data/information to EC using online data exchange services compatible with requirements of INSPIRE Directive
