  2. Quick Brainstorm Sesh • Pick a reader to read through the different techniques advertisers use to influence you • Pick a recorder to write 1 SPECIFIC example of where you have seen these types of techniques used before • Pick a reporter to report your examples when it is time • VERY QUICK!!!

  6. Propaganda Persuasion Techniques • Bandwagon: letting them know others are doing it • Name-Calling: negative words/images to create an unfavorable opinion • Emotional: words/images that make you feel strongly about something • Testimonial: using words of someone else to persuade

  9. Analyzing Propaganda Posters (Glued in on Reflection Side) • Each table will receive a World War 1 propaganda poster • As a group, you will analyze the poster • Be ready to report your findings to the class • Pay attention! You will have to create your OWN WW1 propaganda poster soon
