  2. GETTING STARTED Firstly we drew our designs in our book. “we had lots of ideas” Shyann Before we could start we had to strip the leaves off the willow branches.

  3. MAKING OUR DESIGNS We chose long, flexible pieces of willow and wrapped them together. “It was pretty tricky” Bryony Some of us used stronger pieces and stuck these in the ground to support our weaving.

  5. ‘’ It wasgreat to learn a new skill’’ Lucas Weaving was harder than we had first thought. It took a lot of time and skill and we found it difficult to make some of the things that we had designed. “We realised how clever weavers are.” Naomi
