Wat is de Bibdate? • een prettige formule om communicatie over lezen te stimuleren • een gebeuren dat de bibliotheek een sympathieke, sociale en populaire uitstraling geeft • meer dan een banaal dating-event KERN: lezers bijeenbrengen om op korte tijd leeservaringen en boekentips uit te wisselen

  3. Waarom? • Sociale functie: • de bibliotheek als ontmoetingsplek • Culturele functie: • boekpromotie • Promotionele functie: • bibliotheek heeft sociale en actuele uitstraling • nieuwe gebruikers aantrekken

  4. Voor wie? • Iedereen die wel eens graag leest, en ook graag nieuwe mensen leert kennen • Kerndoelgroep: jongeren en jongvolwassenen die via Bibdate (terug) naar de bibliotheek komen

  5. Wat gebeurt er? • Onthaal, welkom • IJsbrekers • Dating • Berichtjes schrijven • Afsluiter

  6. De ruimte • Bibliotheken doorgaans niet ingericht voor zulke gelegenheden • Restyling wenselijk! • Aangename ruimte • Uitnodigend • Rustig en afgesloten

  7. De ruimte • Twee invalshoeken • Romantiek: kitsch (knipoog!), kaarslicht, rode kleuren, intimiteit… • Literatuur: boeken, citaten… • Sfeer: • Inrichting • Muziek: up tempo & licht • MC: charmante maar gezaghebbende gastheer

  8. Uitwijken • Alternatieve locatie • Café (Herk-de-Stad) • Kasteel d’Ursel (Bornem) • Instant sfeer, minder decoratiewerk • Extra publiekslokker, geeft het geheel iets exclusiefs
