  2. The Gateway Arch is located in St. Louis It is 630 feet tall and 630 feet wide. The Arch was built from February 12, 1963, and was completed on October 28, 1965

  3. There was a nationwide competition in 1947-1948 to design a monument. The architect won was Eero Saarinen and his model was the Gateway Arch

  4. The Arch has a total weight of 42507 tons The metal weighs 4400 tons The concrete weighs 38107 tons

  5. The arch can be seen from 30 miles away and is taller than any other building The Arch is the fourth most visited tourist attraction in the world

  6. The Arch sways about half an inch in normal weather The Arch is stable enough to withstand high winds and earthquakes The Arch symbolizes westward expansion

  7. I would love to visit The Gateway Arch. It is one of the tallest buildings in the U.S, I mean the view would be absolutely breathtaking. It would just be amazing to see the Gateway Arch
