A thorough review of role and responsibility assignments for those involved in administrative and compliance functions will be undertaken beginning November 14th. A role and responsibility matrix will be used to capture current state. Delegated authorities and role duty clarity will be a priority of this analysis. Key departmental participants will be identified and asked to participate in the matrix exercise. Existing policies and procedures for high-risk administration and compliance areas will be secured for review and discussion. Current educational program details supporting key compliance and administration functions will be inventoried and reviewed by Committee. A campus wide faculty and staff survey will be developed and shared with Ad Hoc Committee on November 14th. A. Key Committee Activities and Accomplishments: B. Key Committee Activities/Milestones planned: • Third meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee; Committee scope, mission, and operating charge confirmed. • Committee members began identifying key compliance and administrative areas deserving attention. • A sub-committee responsible for developing a faculty and staff-wide survey was established. Barry Bozeman named Chair. • A Special Topics Workshop covering important aspects of Compliance at UGA was conducted October 31, 2007; the intentions of this Committee were outlined. C.
