Audience • This program is for children in preschool through kindergarten. • It can be used for special education and normal learners. • It is intended for students who need hands on experience in learning.
Environment • This project will be done individually with the help of an aide. • It must be done at a computer. • It must be done in a room where talking is tolerated.
Objectives • The purpose of this program is to help students identify the five senses. • After reading through all of the information, students will be able to identify the five senses by choosing the sense that goes best with the picture shown.
Orientation • We all have senses. Almost all of us have five different senses. • Lets learn what senses are and what they help us do. • Pay close attention. You have a quiz at the end!

What is Sight? • Sight is the sense that allows us to see. • Sight lets us see our parents, our pets, our friends, and everything else in the world.

What is Smell? • The sense of smell allows us to smell. • It lets us smell all of the yummy smells, and some other not so yummy smells.

What is Taste? • The sense of taste allows us to taste all of the yummy food. • Without taste we wouldn’t know if we like cookies, or that we don’t like dirt.

What is Hearing? • Hearing allows us to hear the things around us. • Without hearing we couldn’t hear our moms call us, listen to music, or hear the TV.

What is Touch? • The sense of touch allows us to feel everything around us. • Touch lets us feel how soft a puppy is, if our clothes are itchy, or if we have sand in our shoes.
