2. Freshman • Moving into college is exciting ! Don’t be nervous, at first if your unsure chat it up with a roommate or new friend . I’m sure they can relate. • The day I moved into Bloomsburg , I was so nervous. My roommate and I had different taste and I thought that we would have nothing in common. However, after getting to know her a little better I found out we did share similar interests.

3. Dorm Rooms Your dorm is your canvas. Decorations tell a lot about who you are to people passing by. Pictures, Posters, and Organization are all helpful for new found friends to figure you out. Give people a little insider of who you are by sharing some pictures of you and your friends from home. Pictures of you and your friends can tell a lot about your personality. Here are some examples of the rooms I looked at .

4. Time is Crucial Studying is important. You have to set time aside for your studies. In order to have the optimal BU experience it is necessary to have a healthy balance between friends and school work • One of the toughest obstacles of being a freshman is managing time. • Studying should be our top priority but with everything going on it can sometimes be hard to focus. • After interviewing several students at BU, I learned that most students spend more time socializing than studying.

5. What’s there to do at BU ? • Bloomsburg offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations for you to get involved in and expand your resume ! • Join a sports team if clubs aren’t your thing • Join a recreational club or academic club • There’s plenty of on campus organized events such as Midnight Pizza and Bingo . Grab some friends and Have fun ! 

6. Campus Dining • There are a lot of good places to eat on campus! • The Scranton Commons is a place to go with friends, to enjoy a buffet style meal! There’s a ton to choose from. Be sure to grab an ice cream cone on the way out!  • Other places to try are the Husky Lounge and Monty’s. These places offer a wide variety of food as well, but use flex as well as a meal plan! Its quick and easy if your in a hurry & the food is great! Give it a try!

7. The Italian Kitchen which is located below the Commons is great for Italian Cuisine. • Two for Tuesdays is a great deal! 2 slices and drink for a meal swipe! • Roongo’s is flex only but offers great salads , and sandwiches ! It has a great variety that other eateries on campus don’t offer.

8. A Closer Look At Campus • Need a quite place to study? • There are study lounges in every dorm building ! • Columbia fireside lounge is quite and cozy! • The library has many great resources and materials available ! • Kehr Union Fireside Lounge is another awesome place to relax, and do some reading! • On a nice day grad your book and head for the benches near the fountain. I’m sure you will enjoy it!

9. Kehr Union Game Room, has a large amount of computers available for you to use, Its also has ping pong tables , pool tables, and couches. It’s a great place to meet up with a group of friends !

10. Bloomsburg University has a lot to offer. It is a great place to better your education for your future and while you’re here , you will meet alotof great people!
