Working Plan Initiatives • DOE Safety and Health Training Reciprocity Program: • Provides transfer-ability of training between DOE Sites • Courses are evaluated against a defined standard through a process facilitated by HAMMER • Reciprocity is granted through the National Training Center (NTC) • Current status: 17 Subject Areas, 9 Participating Sites/Labor Union
Working Plan Initiatives • Course and Related Data System (CARDS) • Data base that allows for ready access to government-owned training materials developed under DOE contract for use by different training providers • Courses are uploaded by training organizations into a virtual training content library • Status: Initiated 3/15, beta testing with select EFCOG participants, launch 5/16 • 67 courses currently loaded
Working Plan Initiatives • Personnel Access and Data System (PADs) • Data base that allows sharing of selected training records • Patterned after existing system administered by INPO • EFCOG is providing input and feedback during the development and deployment of system • Status: Scoping and specification requirements for the application are scheduled for this spring (2016).
Efficiency and Effectiveness: Driving Excellence in DOE Training Programs • Work Session Focus: FY16 initiative vision, implementation barriers, and deliverables
FY 2016 Upcoming Focus Areas and Planned Achievements • Leverage support for EFCOG organizations to build and expand enterprise initiatives • Provide Lessons Learned and possible options for sites dealing with Learning Management Systems (LMS) issues - SG • Provide feedback and assistance to enhance compliance for EFCOG organizations - TT • Ensure work is performed safely by efficiently and effectively trained employees
