  2. Irregular Verbs • When irregular verbs are used in different tenses, they do not following the rules like other verbs do.

  3. Irregular Verbs • Instead of having “ed” forms to show past tense, irregular verbs usually change to other words.

  4. Example • Present Tense • The students set up the experiments.

  5. Example • Present Participle • The students are setting up the experiments.

  6. Example Past Tense The students set up the experiments.
