together Together means to be with others in a group. Ex. The children played ball together in the park. Unit 1 Week 1
resemble If you resemble someone you look or act like him or her. Ex. Alligators resemble crocodiles in some ways, but are different in others. Unit 1 Week 1
protect Protect means to keep safe. Ex. A seatbelt will protect you when riding in a car. Unit 1: Week 1
activity An activity is something you do. Ex. My favorite activity is swimming. Unit 1: Week 2

occasion An occasion is an important and special event. Ex. A wedding is a very happy occasion. Unit 1: Week 3
