  8. Elements (Entries) of a Matrix A number within a matrix identified by its row number and column number: Arc A32= -5 A14= 5 Remember! Find row first then column!

  9. Square Matrix A matrix with the same number of rows and columns 4 x 4 3 x 3 2 x 3

  10. Scalar A single number used to multiply the matrix

  11. Scalar Multiplication Process of multiplying each entry in a matrix by the same scalar
