  3. The 40 Day School Bus Information Report Microsoft Access database will not be used. *

  4. * Districts without a vendor supported Student Information System can still get a copy of the 40 Day School Bus Information Report Microsoft Access database. Call Jesse Kain 505-827-7825

  5. Changes to STARS • New Field: “In use on reporting day” (Report all busses) • New Program Fact code: “BUSA” • “Vehicle Route Snapshot” template will not be submitted.

  6. Make sure your vendor will support the creation and export of the required STARS transportation templates.

  7. All transportation data will be collected using STARS. Transportation Budget data will be derived from STARS.

  8. On the “Transportation 40th Day Data Report “ the “Corrected Data (If Necessary)” column has been removed.

  9. No spreadsheets will be used. Category B (Special Ed Students receiving services) will be identified in STARS Program Fact = BUSA

  10. All busses are to be reported. New Data Field In use on reporting day Yes if in use No if not in use

  11. No mileage will be reported for busses not in use on 40 day.

  12. The 2013-2014 40 day STARS Transportation templates are: Vehicle Snapshot Vehicle Mileage District Fact

  13. 40 Day Reporting Process • Submit templates to STARS. • Run STARS Bus Listing. • Run STARS Bus Ridership. • Run STARS Bus 40 Day Certification Report. • Sign and fax to PED.

  15. Transportation 40th Day Data After running the report review the data. Make sure the data is correct. If it is not correct fix and resubmit the STARS Transportation templates.

  16. Transportation 40th Day Data Sign the report and fax to the PED Transportation Bureau.
