The Lions Mentoring Program • A Lion can be either a Mentor or a Mentee in either the Basic or Advanced Mentoring Program. • Each level of the program has specific goals that need to be reached within a defined time.
Objectives of the Lions Mentoring Program • Share knowledge with a newer Lion • Learn from more experienced Lions • Move into a leadership role at the club or district level through the Lions Advanced Mentoring program • Be actively involved and complete tasks

Lions Basic Mentoring Program Responsibility and Relationships
The Lions Basic Mentoring Program-Responsibility level • Comprehensive Knowledge: • Club • District and Multiple District • Lions Clubs International
The Lions Basic Mentoring Program-Relationship level • Attend a club board meeting • Participate in a club service or fund-raising activity • Introduce a prospective member to the club • Visit another club and secure a visitation slip • Attend a convention, report back to the club
The Lions Basic Mentoring Program Rewards: Upon completion of the Basic level, the mentor and mentee receive a certificate of completion.
The Lions Advanced Mentoring Program –Results level • Thoroughly understand club activities and goals • Understand your committee assignment • Complete tasks
The Lions Advanced Mentoring Program-Replication level • At the final stage of the Lions Advanced Mentoring Program, the mentor prepares the mentee to go further in their Lions career.
The Lions Advanced Mentoring Program Rewards: Upon completion of the Advanced level, the mentor and mentee receive a lapel pin.
