Jaded -adjective Fatigued by overwork, exhausted Made dull, apathetic or cynical by frequency of experience Tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something. A personwho no longer looks forward to a day at work or school because it is always the same and no longer challenges him/her to grow/change. Same old same old… Someone who springs out of bed at 5 am, excited to take on the events of the day with a positive attitude. Philadelphia sports fans, the 60 hour a week food service worker, a gambler down on his/her luck, the apathetic teenager who is frequently lavished with gifts from parents and takes it for granted Judy’s incessant lectures regarding my parenting of Sage never fail to leave me jaded and annoyed.
