Grab your coat and Winter cloths and umbrellas head to the 8th planet Neptune • This Gas Giant is an Outer Planet, so it ALWAYS snow in all the seasons • The surface is made out of a gas called “methane” that is why it has a dark blue color • Surprisingly Neptune has rings and has 13 moons THE COOLL COLD PLANET

Neptune has a Dark Spot that disappears every now and then • Bring a umbrella because that dark spot is actually a bigstorm and I mean big • Like all the outer planets Neptune ha s very faint rings • Neptune has wind speeds up to 2,000 km/hr. • Neptune is the coldest planet in the solar system because it is farthest away from the sun • Pluto crosses in front of Neptune’s orbit FREEZING FACTS

  5. Neptune was known as the Greek God Poseidon. The god of waters and seas. His brothers were Zeus (Jupiter) and Hades (Pluto). Poseidon father was Chromos. A Legend to be Told
