Measures installed to Council Properties • Under the capital programme and the various regeneration programmes • - 8500 homes new high energy efficient double glazed windows • - 3400 energy efficient central heating systems • - 9800 homes have had either cavity wall and /or loft insulation - 15,000 CFLs distributed via neighbourhood offices

Initiatives for the Private Sector • Private Sector Housing Renewal Team - Approx 200K per annum for Central Heating Grants - Recently joined Coldbusters through SE Regional Board • Warm & Wise - Partnership with Bromley, Bexley Croydon & Lewisham • Partnership with Greenwich PCT - joint mail out with EAGA Partnership through the Flu Jab Campaign • - thermal imaging survey in the autumn • - to set up a one-stop shop to provide a referral system for anyone who calls a dedicated help line.

Monitoring HECA Methodology used to monitor progress. • The Council’s Capital Programme Monitoring System monitors progress and spends on all Capital Works to the Housing Stock. • Data from our SRB5 Project Team who monitor the “Five Estates” regeneration programme. • Data from Engineering Services regarding improvements to district and communal heating systems as well as information about boiler and control renewal under the Gas Servicing Contract. Feedback from the GEEAC about works undertaken in the private sector. • Data from EAGA Partnership concerning Warmfront funded installations. • Data from the Private Sector Housing Renewal relating to Grant take up (under the Private Sector Renovation and Home Repairs Assistance Grants) for energy efficiency works. • Data from Creative Environmental Network regarding Warm & Wise take-up
