NSREC 2010 TNS Status (December special issue) • 105 oral and poster papers submitted to the TNS • 6 papers presented at the Conference were not submitted to the TNS • As of Oct. 6 deadline: • 86 papers accepted • 5 papers still in the review process • 15 papers rejected • One Short Course review paper submitted and accepted to the TNS • Includes an “In Memoriam” for Gordon Hopkinson, of Surrey Satellite Technology

Marriott, Las Vegas, NV, July 25-29, Conference Chair, Kay Chesnut, Boeing • Fall 2010 RESG meeting held at site, Oct. 5-7 • 2012—Intercontinental, Miami, FL, July 16-20, Conference Chair, Ken LaBel, NASA GSFC • All committees in place; budget approved • Event planning underway • 2013—Hyatt Embarcadero, San Francicso, July 8-12, Conference Chair, Jeff Black, Vanderbilt • Continuing to plan for 50th anniversary themed events • 2014—Conference Chair, Robert Ecoffet, CNES • First IEEE NSREC outside North America • No RADECS in 2014 • Spring RESG meeting at proposed site (TBD) • Working with ETC Services on site selection

AdCom Election • Two candidates from Radiation Effects are on the ballot: Hugh Barnaby (Arizona State Univ.) and Robert Reed (Vanderbilt Univ.). • Several members of the Radiation Effects Community were confused because the first page of the electronic ballot did not include our technical committee name. • Most figured out to click through anyway. • Those who did were able to vote. • We request a re-design of the electronic ballot to avoid this in the next election.
